New Three-Way Stop Coming to Crawford and Julie

If you drive through South Porcupine, here's something to watch for: Timmins council has approved a new three-way stop at the corner of Crawford Street and Julie Street. The stop was green-lit by council this week, even though city staff had looked at the traffic and safety numbers and found they didn't really point to needing extra stop controls at that spot. But council decided to move ahead with it anyway. Keep your eyes open when you're heading through that intersection, and give yourself a little extra time if it's part of your regular route. Better safe than sorry.
