Mark Rogers Elected Ward 2 Councillor

On October 26, South Porcupine voters headed to the polls for Timmins' municipal election. Ward 2, which includes our community, elected Mark Rogers as councillor with 39.8% of the vote. A free community bus ran every 30 minutes from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. that day to help folks without regular transit get to polling stations. Voter turnout in Timmins was up compared to the last election.
